University of Dar-Es-Salam Computing Centre × TT Global Foundation

TT Global Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with the University of Dar-Es-Salam Computing Centre (UCC), a subsidiary of University of Dar-Es-Salam, to jointly design and implement a digital skills training program in Tanzania, marking our first project in the country.

Despite the Tanzania’s growing digital economy and the demand for skilled IT professionals, training opportunities and spaces for individuals to receive industry-aligned IT trainings remain limited. Thus, by bringing together the UCC’s expertise in curriculum design and our fully equipped computer lab, we aim to make quality IT training accessible to university graduates and other students from the community at no cost.

We plan to launch two in-demand programs, Microcomputer Applications and Graphic Design, both aimed at enhancing employability and career prospects. The project is particularly focused on empowering female participants by equipping them with the skills needed to take on leadership roles and contribute to innovation in the Tanzania’s IT sector.
